Negotations with Ideal Recuperations

"What the hell is taking that guy so long?" She groaned impatiently. With her arms folded across her chest, her booted feet tapped the floor to ease the tension she felt. It did not seem to help though because every so often she would glance into the pastry shop to see if he had come out. He must have been a hungry individual because she anticipated he would be out in a minute.

If Aiden didn't come out in a minute, she would make a seen. She was not patient in the slightest. The only ounce of patience she had was mainly because she was on probation and needed a way to get herself out of it or else guarding the pastry shop would be her duty for a long time.

She was unaware of her surroundings and took no interest to onlookers.

"If he is not out here in one minute, there is going to be freaking hell to pay...." She whispered to herself.

The overweight pastry owner slapped the table again when the peasant boy didn't pay for the Caramel Cake.  It was like he expected.  Taking into account that the boy was poor, he rubbed his mustache as if he were contemplating what to do with him.   Narrowing his eyes, he was disturbed by the boy's time wasting.  He had pastries to sell and money to make.

"No money no service...."  Continuing to stare at the boy while rubbing his belly, he then saw the woman standing outside his shop.  He smirked devilishly at the sight of her.  He dreamed of her every night eating one of his pastries and then being controlled totally by him.  Ever since the day she started patrolling, she hadn't taken a bite of any of his pastries despite him offering her free ones.  She was a stuck up one she was, but today might be different.  Convincing her to eat his pastry, would give him full control of her.  The potent drug in his pastries had given him the ability to control his customers as well as getting paid more than what his pastries were worth.  His pastries were both addicting and controlling. 

"How about this kiddy...you get that girl out there to eat one of my pastries and I will give you this Caramel Cake for free.  She is my toughest customer, but I am hoping that my special, supreme, chocolaty cupcake will change her mind."  He smiled to make it seem like his gesture was kind.  He was hoping the boy would fall for the bait.

He was just about to call it quits, but the fat baker's offer had just made that ring in his ears -- a ring so deliciously captivating in it's mesmerizing sound. In truth, his hunger had made that ringing so tasty. To any normal person here, such a ring might not sound so good. Aiden, however, had too much hunger to think any more of it. If he could get his hands on that caramel bread, he'd be happy enough to move on. However, if such a thing came, he'd have to stave off hunger for a few moments. Still, though, he was going to try. He went outside, almost as if he didn't hear the baker. He walked towards the Limitless woman with no smiles and obviously no caramel bread.

"I ran into a bit of a problem. I've got no money. I seemed to have lost it in my coming here..haha." that last "haha" was definitely nervous-sounding.

"The man set me up for an offer. He wants you to eat some pastries or something. If that happened, he'd give me my treat." It can be easily deduced that this was one hungry motherfucker. Still, he could handle some time without the treat. He fed himself a few rations before his coming here. It just so happened that he nearly took a day trying to find this place. He just looked at Estrella with hungry eyes, like any poor peasant would. He wasn't a poor peasant, though. Or, to be exact, he wasn't a peasant. He may as well be piss-poor right about now.

"Your call." still, there was a side in Aiden that said the cute puppy eyes were just for a bonus or even a small advantage. If so happened that she refused, then Aiden would have to stick with it. Yeah, he still has a negative first impression about her.

Finally, just as she was about to lose her patience, Aiden returned from the bakery. She looked at him calmly despite the annoyance she felt for waiting. She studied him for a brief moment. He was empty handed. When she saw that he hadn't returned with a single item, she wanted an explanation. She was about to ask if he had eaten before walking out. He answered her question before she could ask.

Apparently, the loonie bin baker requested another errand boy to get her to buy one of the disgusting treats he made. This was not the first time that he had done so. The errand boys of the past were returned with bruises for having asked because she wanted nothing to do with the mustached freak. Unfortunately, this case was different. Aiden was not another simple, errand boy. He was her client. He was her ticket out of probation, therefore, she complied to give him money so he could buy something to eat.

She swallowed her pride to let her kindness try to make its way to her heart. It wasn't kindness though. It was ambition. It was ambition for her personal benefits. Forcing a smile, she pulled out her wallet. Within her wallet, there was enough money to feed Aiden 100 times over. Her position and connections gave her the finest in life.

"I usually don't care about what that fat ass says, but I am a bit hungry too, and I've never had something from there surprisingly sooo I guess one time wouldn't hurt. " There was a reason she avoided the bakery shop. The mustached man gave her the creeps. Regardless of her feelings, she wouldn't deal with him.

" Here..get me a chocolate cupcake and get something for yourself. We will need some muscle power if we want to free your village." She stated with emphasis on Aiden's village.
