"I finally get to relax at the beach and go to a carnival." Estrella said in her distinct Spanish accent. At the same time, she smiled when she saw the glorious fireworks that Bodhum was famous for. She walked along the coast while her eyes admired the light show. Her jacket kept her warm from the cool breeze of the night. The weather was better than in most areas so she could not complain. It was certainly more refreshing than the polluted city she lived at which was Limitless' headquarters. Nevertheless, the polluted city is where she worked, and it was where she got paid. For now, the city was in a distant place within her memory.
This was her first time in sector 13, but she heard rumors of how modern and serene the area looked especially at night. The rumors were true, and she had a firsthand account to prove it. Her reward was what she expected. Since she had finally completed a mission successfully, she was given a surprise trip to one of the best vacation spots the Final Order world had to offer. It was a no expense trip paid by a special someone who she would need to thank later. With that in mind, she was sure to enjoy every bit of it.
There was a bar near the beach area where she plopped herself onto a stool. The bar was slightly packed with a couple of teenagers and adults in their mid twenties. She fit right in despite being a part of Limitless.
"Serve me a drink will you?" Her spoiled attitude was noted by the bartender, but she did not pay him any attention. Once she ordered her drink, she rested her forearms against the table and studied her surroundings. She did not like what she see.
{Ugh I should have reserved this place for myself then I wouldn't have to deal with losers.} She thought to herself in regret and disgust.
The bartender stared at her for a long second, but did as he was told. He did not want another mess at his bar. It seemed every night there was a problem because of the drunks that liked to hang around there.
