Shroud gave off a short smile as he got Seifer's attention. He went to assess Stephen's wounds to see if he wasn't severely wounded. What his eyes have gotten weren't pretty. There was a gaping wound sure to leave a scar in his chest, and Seifer's hands were bloody. He had not seen something such as this ever since the big fish in Parfloss. From deep inside, Shroud felt a respect for Seifer. To think that someone other than the big fish in Parfloss was this terrifying easily got him tingling with excitement.
As Seifer began speaking, Shroud noted how he was talking about knights and princesses. He was confused of what he meant by them, but not before long. Seifer had told to Shroud's face that Estrella was his wife. Suddenly, every piece of the puzzle began rolling in his mind. Being a rose that can sting, yet that it's the least of your troubles, and the bodyguards. They explained everything all so well, now. Estrella was of a higher rank than she was letting on--! Shroud tried to not show his surprise, and dare he say it was like trapping a bunch of air into a balloon to the point that it could float to space.
He continued listening afterwards. Seifer asked him about the amateurs that Shroud and Estrella thoroughly gave beatings to. Right now, Seifer had also given a decent incentive. Should Shroud tell him of the gang's whereabouts, he would be trained in the best way possible. A smirk instantly came off of Shroud. It felt like it was time for payback. In a way, this would've been a win-win situation. Oddly-shaped teeth pointed to some sort of interest. To Shroud, he felt that about 15 minutes passed. In 15 minutes, they couldn't have gotten very far. Not if he beat some of 'em up with a mace of ice. In any case, the answer was obvious.
"Yes. If you meant the ones we have beaten, they're still alive. They couldn't have gotten far, either. Take it from me, I beat some of them up with a mace of ice. They're not going anywhere far.."
