Shroud's jaw lowered as he saw Seifer take some action. Seifer merely burned both the captain and that one white-haired guy. Then, he finished them up swiftly with an incredibly powerful orb. The two men that would've been there have now disappeared forever. This dude was a monster. If he were to be ranked, that would be a 5 for sure in strength. Shroud regained his composure as Seifer spoke to him about leaving both of them to him. "Why am I to deal with them?", Shroud questioned himself in his thoughts, "If this man could just blow up the other 2 in a moment's notice?". Regardless, Shroud was at another fight, but Seifer evened the odds. All Shroud had to do was take them on.
As Seifer left in a dash, the two men looked awestruck. Shroud placed Shakelmir above his shoulder and wondered whether to just hit one of them as they bickered. They mentioned a name that only served to confirm his thoughts--Stephen was the culprit here. Shroud made some subtle cold air in his hands and formed it into a small throwing dagger, blade no less than 10 inches. Shroud guessed some small attempt to hit someone in ranged combat wouldn't hurt. Much. Given his skill, though, all it'll serve is for a false alarm.
They turned to him at a key moment. Shroud kept the dagger hidden as best as he could as they asked him about whether Seifer could really do that. To be honest, he just saw how powerful he was himself. "Don't ask me. First time I've seen it, too." Shroud shrugged. Amazing as it was, they looked at first to be easily distracted. Shroud realized that when their tone moved to a more threatening one, it was time for the battle to start. He kept a close eye on both of their movements, and realized that blonde man had a bat. The other one had a gun. He's up against a far-ranged combatant, which he sucked against, and a close-ranged one. This would be quite a challenge. Shroud shot a glare at Andrew, who twirled the bat. Shroud's glare wasn't as cold and tough as Seifer's, but it held it's own strength to it.
Becker raised the gun. At that exact moment, Shroud shot the dagger of ice. It twirled, although it wasn't straight. If it were straighter, it might've been aimed at Becker's chest. Given Shroud's skill, though, it probably would have hit his leg or just beside him. As it twirled, though, it was likely to miss. As he threw the dagger, he made a dash to his left, dodging the first bullet. He then spun, making a type of spin-slash around him. He ducked while he did that, so the bullet managed to not hit him either. As the third one came, Shroud went forward in a jump, narrowly dodging it, though the edges left a mark on his jacket. The other one however, came right at him. As he was about to touch ground, his free hand gathered some cold air and turned it into a form of cover of ice. The bullet left a hole on the ice. Only because he set that there and did that could he have narrowly dodged that one bullet.
Seeing that the shots were over, Shroud ran in a dash. Shakelmir was readied for a horizontal slash. As he got closer to the man with the bullets, he dashed nimbly round and around to make it hard to aim for him. Shroud got close to the man with a bat. A foot abruptly stopped, and Shroud let one foot continue, seemingly to perform a jump. The jump was not big, though it served for something. Shroud grabbed Shakelmir with both hands as he spun from left to right once quickly in midair, doing an equally quick, but powerful, slash with Shakelmir. The slash was directed to the one close to him. That is, the one with the bat.
If the blonde man managed to block it, Shroud would see if he could get him with something. "Where'd you get that bat?" Shroud asked. He was curious as to where he got it, since he fairly recognized that man he beat up with a mace of ice. He had a bat, but he didn't think he had it anymore. Thus, Shroud wanted to know if Andrew took it. Waiting no time for the blonde batter to finish his answer, if he did, he'd try a quick leg attack to Andrew's ankle. If it managed to cause Andrew to stumble, Shroud would try to elbow Andrew's ear, still holding on to the Shakelmir with both hands. Shroud took a short jump back to look at what Becker was doing if he was going to do anything. He needed to keep a wary eye on both. It was hard, though. At any point, that ranged weapon would hurt him.
The soldiers were doing what they always did. One was getting beat up by 5 mobsters out of sheer number force, and then the ranged forces shot to kill. The 3 mobsters died, while the other 2 were wounded. The Soldier who was just getting beat up stood up. He still had some in him. He took the chakram from his ground, and dashed to get some mobsters with it's razor sharp blades around the edges. Meanwhile, the mobsters were ready to pummel one of their faces in. The mobster who was about to pull that got confronted by one with a sword. The soldier dashed while the mobster was about to punch the soldier in the face. The speed of the soldier's quick blade outmatched the speed of the punch, leading to the mobster being wounded. The soldier was too occupied to make sure the wounded mobster doesn't stand up, though. Other mobsters came at him. Right now, all looked well for the soldiers..
