Standing upon a rooftop in a rather expansive city, Noel couldn't help but be reminded a little of Luxerion. Even after dark, the city of Deling buzzed with activity, and not all of it of the acceptable kind either. Definitely a lot like his former hunting ground, rife with corruption and those who would not hesitate to take or irreparably change the live of others for their own benefit. Coming from a place where there were few humans, even fewer who weren't willing to  help one another in the struggle for survival, the harsh and selfish face of humanity was alien to him and had come as something of a shock. In the world that had been created when Chaos had flooded the land, it seemed that human kind had become even more selfish and greedy, forcing him to act against more than monsters in his self given role of protector. He had often wondered at the time who he was kidding, playing hero when in his eyes he had caused the whole mess in the first place. In his work as a vigilante, he of course took human lives only when necessary, each time the guilt and his former incessant value for life lessening.

Now was not the time to dwell on the past, after all he had done it only to maintain the security of the people and help in the only way he could. Even if that meant him becoming an enemy of The Order of Salvation. He had a new enemy now, Limitless, the organisation that had destroyed yet another world in order to create...this. How many worlds would it take before finally there would be peace? Until then, he would just have to keep fighting for that future.

For now, he had been assigned by those who defied Limitless to keep an eye on things in this particular city. They seemed to think that they were planning something, but what? Noel knew how to stay hidden, so surely he could uncover something, and if necessary, stop it!

"This city is starting to get on my nerves." The spoiled Limitless female muttered to her newest limo driver who guided her towards her destination. She was headed to a hotel because she had to stay the night at the city. The city of Deling reminded her of the many problems she encountered on a daily basis when entering this city. For some reason, the Commander assumed this would be the best place for her. It was due to his affiliation with the place. She could not even watch her favorite movie without it getting interrupted.

"You know Commander Seifer has a reason for you to come here. I suggest you relax Ms. Divina because I honestly don't want to be the 5th limo driver to die." He mentioned bluntly. He overheard the last limo drivers and their unfortunate ends trying to guard the wild female.

She huffed when the limo driver mentioned Seifer and the other limo drivers before him. It was not her fault. The assassins, who were more likely associated with the rebels, always went after her limo drivers first. These assassins were clever too. The first time she was attacked took place several months ago in Sector 7. A sniper, on a rooftop, almost took her out if it were not for a loony individual who happened to be there that night too. Her first limo driver was killed. Since then, three more were brutally murdered. It was probably because they assumed her limo drivers were body guards too. Regardless, she was not the reason behind her limo drivers' deaths.

"It's not my fault those crazy rebels go after them first." There was a reason she was targeted. Although her secret was well hidden, there were those who knew about why she had to be taken out. She was not only the wife of a major commander for Limitless, but her white magic abilities were exceptional. This meant she made the organization that much stronger. Nevertheless, those were two primary reasons she was overprotected and constantly under watch.

"I just hope tonight I can relax. I don't want to have some psycho attack me again." She said out loud to her limo driver who was struggling with the bags. He was more concerned with staying alive for the rest of the night.

Continuing his lone vigil over the city below, the sound of static alerted him to an incoming communication coming in through the ear piece that he had been given by his faction. They were one of perhaps many rebel groups who simply wanted their worlds and lives returning to normal, at least as far as he could tell. It hadn't taken him long to re earn the reputation he had gained as the Shadow Hunter of Luxerion, in fact he was already becoming fairly renowned by this moniker by rebel factions and Limitless alike. Let them talk, he thought, as the only thing he really cared about was being reunited once again with Yeul. Fate had been cruel once again, tearing the two apart after just a few short years together. This time though, it was his turn to disappear. He hadn't seen any sign of her since arriving here, and he'd be damned if destiny tore them apart yet again!

Answering the call using a push button on the ear pieces receiver, the message contained some interesting intel regarding a woman named Estrella Divina. She was high on their wanted list, but for now they wanted him to watch her every move. She would be arriving by limo, the registration number of which they had somehow found out in order to relay to him. He hoped this didn't get messy, even now he valued human life far more than most ever could, but he had learned the hard way the necessary evil that had to be committed to keep others relatively safe from harm.

It didn't take too long to spot the vehicle that had been described to him, and he crouched down to take a closer look, still perched upon the roof tops. He had also been informed that she would be staying at a specific hotel, and he watched carefully as she exited the limo, her over laden driver not too far behind her. As far as he could see, there was no one else with them, but he still couldn't be too careful. There could be bodyguards or something following in another car, but that was why he was tasked with watching and waiting...

"I fucking hate this hotel. Can you believe the last time I came here they gave MY room to someone else? Who the hell does that?" She reminded the limo driver because it was months ago where she had a run in with an angry janitor. Then an entire Limitless squad had to be sent in to take him out. The limo driver followed her into the hotel with her bags. She had no idea that she was being monitored either. This was a normal night for her. Once she reached the front desk, a lady noticed her right away. She watched the lady nervously grab a key and place it on the table.

The limo driver was forced to listen to her complaints. It was not the worst tragedy he had heard, but he could only begin to imagine the hell that went on that night. Nevertheless, he listened with an impartial ear. He did not judge Estrella. It was part of his job and why he got paid well. When they reached the front desk, he hid behind the luggage to avoid being included in the small, yet vicious cat fight.

"You're getting better at this." A smirk spread across her lips because the woman learned from her previous visit.

"I guess all it took was getting your son fired and getting his ass sent to prison for you to learn how to do your job right." She reminded the owner of the hotel who happened to be the front desk lady. The woman deserved the backlash. The night the Limitless diva got attacked was the night all of them deserved to be fired. Fortunately, she was nice enough to spare some of their jobs.

"H-here you go Ms. Divina. The presidential suite is all yours." The woman remembered Estrella's last visit. There were tears in her eyes when the cold heart woman mentioned her son. Her son was fired the night of the incident and sent to the Balamb Garden prison. The once proud Balamb Garden was nothing more than a prison camp for those who went against Limitless. She did not blame Ms. Divina though. A barbaric woman, by the name of Arcadia, took Estrella's presidential suite that was privately reserved Ms. Divina. Since she was unable to get Arcadia to leave, she was forced to give Estrella another room. This wasn't the worst of it though. The high class Divina was attacked by one of her employees. It was the worst night of her life. She remembered some of her employees being arrested, beaten, and tossed into the back of a truck. The worst part was seeing her son included in the mess.

"I hope you have a nice stay." She tried to be polite despite the pain in her heart.

"For your sake, I hope you're right." Her green eyes looked threatening at the front desk woman because she did not want to be attacked again. Once she gave her warning, her attention went on her limo driver.

"Let's go." She walked ahead and her limo driver carried all her bags. He followed her loyally.

So far so good, Noel thought as he leaped down from his former perch, hanging around just outside of the doorway that separated him from the current occupants of the hotel lobby. The woman at the desk looked visibly shaken, and from the snatches of conversation that he caught, it seemed clear that she had a good reason to be. He guessed that Ms Divina's last visit here hadn't gone down so well. For one, it had apparently ended in the womans son being fired from his work here and sent to prison. All because this mad bitch hadn't gotten her own way, he assumed.

The next thing he noticed was that the driver had still been left carrying all the bags. He couldn't help but feel a little for him, but now wasn't the time. From the conversation, he knew which room they would be staying in, the trick was finding a good vantage point. Before that though, he had been instructed to plant a tracking device on the car. It was starting to get quieter, so now was probably the best time for it.

After a final check of the surrounding area, Noel crouched beside the limo and pulled out the required device, placing it carefully and securely on the underpart of the vehicle. Had anyone seen him? He was pretty sure they hadn't, so now was as good a time as any to hunt down that vantage point. There weren't all that many places overlooking the presidential suite, which made sense given that only potential targets could afford that room, and their were likely cameras on the perimeter. Being so distinctive looking meant that his description was already out in the open, which is why he mostly remained hidden, but their was no use tempting fate. He would need to use all his skill on this one, especially if his colleagues went through with the crazy plan that had been the whole point of this trip.

"Ahh, this feels nice." Estrella jumped on the bed and landed flat on her back. Her limo driver walked in and placed the bags inside the room. She paid no attention to him as her thoughts wandered on the first time she was at the hotel several years ago. This was her honeymoon room.

"You can go now." She reminded the limo driver who seemed pleased to leave before she could ask for anything else.

The limo driver walked out of the room and headed towards the limo where he would rest for the night. Estrella was kind enough to get him a room to stay, but he decided it was best to avoid the hotel altogether. Not to mention, he desperately required a drink after the entire afternoon listening to the woman speak about her problems. He arrived to the limo shortly after he left Estrella in the presidential suite. Once he got inside the limo, he flipped his cell phone open, popped a bottle of whiskey, and took a chug of it. His finger dialed 1 for a speed dial number.

"This is Steve. Yes sir she is where she needs to be." The limo driver replied to the man on the other line. He reported like he was required. Hanging up the phone, he took another chug of his bottle.

"Screw my life." He muttered to himself.

As she lay on the bed, her arrogant expression softened. She was alone in a place that brought both fond memories and bad ones.

"I just want to have a nice night to myself." She didn't bother to change into something more comfortable. Instead, she lay on the bed with her eyes peering out the window.

As she peered out of the window of the presidential suite, the Shadow Hunter kept a close eye on Estrella. It was imperative he remained hidden though, seeing as one wrong move would give the entire game away. He had just been given further instructions to enter the room by whatever means he could in order to find any kind of incriminating documentation that could be used against her and the organisation she worked for. If the main part of the plan went ahead, then he probably wouldn't need it as they could extract the intel straight from the horses mouth, so to speak. Noel couldn't help but sigh quietly at the thought. Kidnapping wasn't his style, but if that was what it took to save his world, and all the worlds out there, as well as to see Yeul again, then he was sure his conscience could take it. If he could just say forgive himself for setting off the chain of events that had destroyed an entire world, then perhaps he could live with the disappointment this action might provoke. It wasn't as if he would be killing the woman. Even now that was still unforgivable, even if it was deemed necessary.

Noticing the limo driver arriving back at his vehicle, Estrella Divina was now on her own in the hotel room. Getting the go ahead to enter, he planned a route that wasn't in sight of the bedroom window that she was gazing out of. It wasn't as if she was standing there staring, but all it would take was for her to look up at the wrong time for the whole game to be given away. Besides, even if he did get in their he would need to act quickly so as not to be spotted. He would need to wait until she was asleep, but for now he pondered the best way of getting the job done.

Unfortunately for him, it seemed as if someone was on Estrella's and Limitless' side, as a note was slipped under her door. It read 'Beware of the Shadow Hunter', written as if she should know about him and his affiliation with rebel factions. Perhaps she did, but either way her mysterious ally's note would warn her that something wasn't right. if she found it in time that is.

The silence of her room had gotten to her. Her female intuition was uncomfortable too, yet she was unaware someone watched her. Slowly, but surely her eyes grew heavy. Before she fell asleep, thoughts of her day lingered in her mind. The day had been a long one since she traveled to different sectors to talk to investors who were willing to fund Limitless with better resources. They used the newly, combined sectors as a means to empower the organization further. Despite being a soldier with prestige, she was not allowed to go on the more aggressive missions she wished to be on. Not to mention, she was currently on probation.

Her missions mostly consisted of boring peace talks with arrogant business leaders like Shinra's Rufus. She would hand them Limitless funds so that they could build Limitless better and more advanced weaponry. These were abou the only missions she was currently allowed to go too because they were minimum risk.

What she was assigned to were medial jobs now for lower ranking soldiers. She even had "watch duty" in front of a bakery in Final Order. It was embarrassing, but at the same time she understood why. She was a skilled healer, expert archer, and rambunctious brawler. Her skills were not what she lacked. It was her temperament that concerned a certain someone. The rambunctious brawler was probably why she was constantly under watch. There were times she would bite off more than she could chew and swallow. In other words, she'd get herself into trouble.

This didn't stop her from getting into action sometimes. There were moments she would even grab top priority missions off her husband's desk unknowingly and take them on despite being ordered not too. She was rebellious in nature and not easily controlled by a system.

She was important and highly protected because of who she was associated with. After several minutes of thinking about her current mission, which consisted of talking with someone of little importance to her, she tossed those thoughts aside and focused on getting sleep. The person she needed to talk to required her to be polite which wasn't her strong suite. Her eyes were about to close until she heard a soft scratch sound at her door. Lazily, she rolled to her side to look at the door where the noise came from. Her tired eyes spotted a note on the floor.

"What the hell do those damn hotel workers want now? I swear all of them are getting fired after tonight." She rose to her feet and walked over to the door. Then she crouched to pick it up. Her eyes looked over the note curiously. When she read it, she slapped her forehead because of how ridiculous the hotel workers were.

"Beware of the Shadow Hunter? Oh wow, how childish. The Shadow Hunter should beware of me. I swear if I find out who wrote this note, I am going to kick their ass." She blurted out rudely. However, the note bothered her more than she let on. Her face softened because there was a chance it could be more than what it let on. On high guard, she walked over to the bed and grabbed her long bow that was on the nightstand. She would keep it by her side. Her eyes traveled the room including the window, yet she saw nothing. Why was she taking the note seriously? It was because of the past crazies who tried to attack her.

The fact that she was being paranoid about someone who was not even real drove her to the breaking point. She sighed in irritation.

"That's it! I am so done with this hotel." She reached for her phone and pressed 1 to speed dial. This was the last night they were going to ruin for her.

At first, it seemed as if all was going to plan. The driver was outside and now fast asleep in the car and Ms Divina herself appeared to be dozing off too. He had heard a lot about this woman, perhaps knowing more about her than she realised, but then how much of it was actually true? Either way, the stories suggested that she was a renowned archer and healer with a bad attitude and a knack for getting into and causing trouble. In other words, a spoiled brat.

Continuing to keep watch, she suddenly arose from the bed and made her way out of eyesight. Noel wondered what had gotten her attention, but as soon as she re entered his face fell. She was now on high guard, with her weapon kept close. Had she seen him or had someone else warned her? There was no way he could have been seen, or had he become over confident in his abilities? Either way, it seemed as if something was starting to go badly wrong, and he wondered if he should pull out or watch some more. He decided on the latter, risking getting in a little closer.

Pulling out her phone, it seemed as if Estrella was perhaps about to call for back up. Any other time he might have gotten out of there, but he had been warned that if he was discovered that the consequences could be devastating. Not necessarily for him, but for the people who ran the hotel, were staying in it or simply were standing too close. He didn't want to jump in too soon, but he needed to be sure of the situation before he acted. He kept tight hold of his swords, before deciding that a lance might be needed should he need to act quickly. Combining his twin blades to become just that kind of weapon, he waited, hoping that doing so wasn't about to be a bad mistake.

She tapped her foot while the phone rang on the other end. While waiting, her vigilante, green eyes looked out the window again. There was nothing to suggest that she may be in trouble. The phone continued to ring until a man's voice sounded on the other end. The person on the other end answered. The individual's voice was husky and lower which indicated it was a man she was speaking with.

"Commander...I really hate this fucking hotel. Remind me...Why do you keep booking me here?" The man on the opposite end responded that he knew the city well. He had grown up in the sector. She sighed because there were other reasons. It probably brought him good memories of their honey moon. Nevertheless, the hotel was a disgrace. Since she was talking, she turned her back to the window. Her concentration lowered to focus on her conversation.

"I got this stupid note slipped under my door. It's probably nothing serious and likely a joke some dumb kid was trying to play on me. It says beware of the Shadow Hunter I swear that this hotel is a waste. " She said angrily. The person on the other line went silent, but then replied with a question. He was already thinking the worst.

"The limo driver is outside." She replied simply.

"Fine, I will stay inside the hotel and wait for you to come by. Yes, I promise. You don't have to worry. I'll be a good girl and stay in here until morning since you're so far away. No, I am not being sarcastic. Okay, okay goodnight. I'll stay safe sheesh." Her eyes rolled while she said she promised because that meant there was no fun for her. She was sincere with her promise. She was not one for taking orders, but in this case she went with it. From the looks of the note, it was likely a prank. Her guard was lowered because her nerves were calmed by the commander on the other line. Her fingers closed the cell phone. Gently, she placed her long bow on the nightstand and plopped onto the bed. The note was tossed to the side without second thought.

"I hate people around here. Shouldn't they know by now that they shouldn't mess with me? If I find the kid who slipped this note, I am going to give him a black eye." Her eyes settled on the ceiling.

The limo driver took another swig of his drink.

"How did I end up with a career like this? Man, I should have stayed at the balamb garden..coulda had a better military career..too bad I was too much of a chicken to finish my course." He thought about the past and how he was destined to be better than a limo driver protecting a spoiled brat. Upon thinking the worst of his employer, his phone rank. He flipped the cell phone open and groaned when he saw who it was.

"Fuck my life..." The limo driver pinched the bridge of his nose before answering it.

Unable to hear the conversation, Noel watched carefully from his hiding spot as Estrella spoke on the phone. At first, she watched carefully from the window, causing him to shrink back a little in case he was spotted. This wasn't to be the case though, as she then turned away engrossed in her conversation. This allowed him the time to carefully edge in closer. He had noticed an open window which likely led to the corridor outside of the presidential suite. It was almost as if he were being invited in, but he wasn't that foolish. When something seemed to easy, then it was most likely a trap. That, or it could cause him to become complacent and lose his concentration, immediately blowing his cover and the whole mission. He sighed, wondering just how he had gotten to be practically a puppet for these people. If that was what it took to restore his world though. After all, he had finally been happy, as had his friends.

Waiting for her to let her guard down, Noel took his chance to edge in a little closer. He would need to wait for her to go to sleep before he acted further, hoping that the open window he had his eye on wasn't shut by then. He doubted it, as most of the guests would be asleep by now and no workers would be doing much at this time. They would have no reason to go anywhere near the floor that held the presidential suite, at least they shouldn't have. He couldn't help but wonder if he had been seen or if someone knew of the plan and had somehow warned Estrella. There had to be a reason her guard had gone right up all of a sudden, but it seemed that whoever was on the other end of that phone had given her some reassurance that all would be well. He really hoped that would be the case, as he loathed to harm anyone, even indirectly. With a bit of luck, he could gain the needed intel either from something in the room while she slept, or the tracker under her limo.

While looking up at gr ceiling, she played with the red cross ring she had on her finger. She was reassured that she'd be okay, yet her mind could not seem to relax. Normally, she wasn't afraid of anything. This situation was no different except for the fact that she was consumed by paranoia of what the note truly meant.

"I should just stay awake just in case that president needs to reach me." She said out loud to herself as a way to convince herself she wasn't disturbed by a childish note. Her luggage contained folders of the plans to further advance the balamb garden prison. The prison had become over crowded with rebel scum so there was a need to construct another one. Her only objective was to hand the folders to the president. Once she had, she had no further say.

"I hate this place. " Her high pitch voice moaned in irritation.

The limo driver answered the phone. The first question he was asked and how it was asked caused his eyes to widen.

"Where the fuck are you chicken wuss?" The voice sounded angry on the other end.

The limo driver stumbled upon his words, but answered the question with a white lie. He couldn't say that he was in the limo getting wasted.

"I'm in the hotel nearby Ms. Divina's room Sir. She is fine. I didn't see anyone suspicious." He admitted, but was not exactly sure. Quickly, he got out of the limo and rushed inside the hotel. The voice on the other line scolded the limo driver to do a better job because someone left a note in her room.

After several minutes of getting yelled at, he was directly in front of Estrella's room.

"Yes, I'll do it sir." He mumbled and hung up. Seeing that Estrella was okay by the looks of the room, he shrugged and headed back to the car.

"That guy is a serious a hole so glad I don't have to see him everyday. I'm outta here." The second the limo driver stepped out the door, his head snapped back in a gruesome manner, and he dropped dead.

It didn't look like Ms Divina would be sleeping any time soon, so with a heavy sigh he realised that he might have to take what he needed by force. First though, he would need to report this latest development to his new superiors.

Pressing a button on his earpiece, he did just that and awaited further instructions. It seemed that whatever she was carrying was important enough to risk a lot, including his own personal well being. This didn't sit well with him, as worst case scenario he could be killed. Then how would he see Yeul again, as well as keep his word to Caius that he would take care of her? He knew that he was a skilled swordsman and hunter, but would skill be enough? He hoped so.

Glancing toward the front entrance, he saw the limo driver get out of the limo and enter the building rather hastily as he spoke on the phone. If he was going to do this, then he would need to wait until she was alone. This mission was dangerous enough without risking either collateral damage or another enemy combatant!

After about five minutes, the driver exited the building, his conversation ended so it seemed. What happened next though happened to fast, as a shadowy figure appeared from seemingly nowhere and snapped the mans neck in a single strike! Leaping from his hiding place, Noel drew his blades as he ran out into the road, but the figure was long gone by the time he got there. Approaching the recently deceased, it was clear that he wouldn't be getting up, so Noel simply pressed his eyes closed and looked back up toward the hotel. Someone was here, and if they too were on to this then he would need to work quickly. Stealth might no longer be possible, at least once he entered the hotel via the open window he had spotted earlier, but then what was he supposed to do, knock on the door? It could work if he was able to overpower the woman, but from what he had heard she was no dainty flower. He didn't have much of a choice though, but then what if he picked the lock, or easier still took the spare key. Was anyone still hanging around the foyer? Unlikely, as by now it was pretty late, and peering inside seemed to confirm this.

Entering the main foyer, the hunter checked that the coast was clear before locating the spare keys and breaking into the locked box using his strength and his hunting knife. Keys to the Presidential suite in hand, he made his exit as he decided to slip in though that window rather than risk being heard on the stairs.

Now outside her door, he briefly pondered his next course of action. He had looked again and the coast was clear around both sides of the door, but should he just unlock the door and go in or should he knock? Either way could leave him in a vulnerable position, but he could do one of two things. He could quickly and quietly unlock the door, although if the lock was stiff that would alert the occupant. On the other hand, if he knocked then it would give her time to arm herself before answering. The former option seemed the best of the two, but either way he would be in for fight.

Thankfully, it the key slid in and around in one fluid motion, allowing him a quick entrance. He wasn't in the bedroom, but it was still likely that Estrella may have heard that. Hiding in the shadows, blades at the ready, he waited to gauge her reaction, if any. Of course, if she turned the light on then bang went his new hiding place, but then he was poised and ready to fight if that's what it came to! Whatever was in these documents apparently needed to be obtained at all costs, but if putting himself in harms way would return things to normal and contribute to stopping Limitless, then it would be worth it. If he survived to tell the tale of course! At least his position wasn't in direct line of sight from the archway that separated the bedroom from the living area in which he had found himself, in fact she would need to pass him unless she looked around the corner first.

The self righteous female had no clue that her limo driver was brutally murdered outside the hotel. He was the least of her problems. Ever since she read the note that was slipped under her door, she became paranoid with the idea that someone may be watching her. She tried to reason that it was a silly note. However,counting how many times she had been attacked the last couple of months, the note did strike a nerve in her usually brave heart.

The room was dark, yet she was unable to fall asleep. After a couple of minutes of trying to ease her concerned mind, she had given up. The best way to relax herself was to do some reading on her upcoming mission. It was good to refresh her mind with what needed to be done. It wasn't anything she couldn't remember, but at least it would keep her distracted.

"Ugh, fuck this." She muttered to herself. Rolling on the bed, she reached for a suitcase and pulled out folders that contained important documents. Then she opened them to reread what was inside them. She was too distracted to notice that someone had entered in her room. Her eyes scanned left to right. Eventually, they grew strained from reading in the dark. She glanced over at the wall where the switch was. It was too far.

Being too lazy to turn on the light by the switch, she used white magic to illuminate the area just enough so that she could read the documents. Her hand glowed a light blue color. The light was enough to allow her to read the documents, yet she was still unaware that someone was in her room.

"I guess I have to meet with a guy named Cid. Great, there are about a million damn Cids...oh wait there is a picture here." She said out loud to herself. It was her way of keeping calm.

"He sure is an ugly guy. Hard to freakin miss a face like that." She chuckled at her joke.

"He doesn't look useful, but can't judge a book by a cover I suppose." She closed the folder and sat up on the bed so that her back rested against the wood work of the bed. There was nothing more she required to know about the mission. It was straight forward. This, once again, left her without anything to do. The light, glowing from her hand, continued to illuminate the area. There appeared to be nothing even in the darkness. Shrugging to relieve the nerves, she then looked out the window. Was this woman ever going to go to sleep, Noel wondered as Estrella seemed to give up on sleep and proceeded to make her way over to the documentation he had been tasked with snatching. No one had gotten back to him about wanting her too, but then it wouldn't be as easy as grabbing her, even if it was his thing. He was a vigilante at heart, fighting for what was right and against those who would oppress others, but kidnapping was a pretty big leap! He had killed yes, something which most people considered a far worse crime, but only when absolutely necessary! That was how he justified anyway, but none of that was important at the time being.

Watching as she used white magic to illuminate her reading material, rather than turn on a light, perhaps now was his best chance. He crept from his original spot closer to the woman, being careful not to be seen or heard until it was time to strike. He had little intention of hurting the woman, no matter who she was, but he needed to do what was necessary to retrieve those documents! He waited until he was in striking distances, and then pounced, intending on placing his hunting knife to her throat. He didn't think there was any actual need to kill her, but she wouldn't know that, right?

At the same time though, it appeared that Noel wasn't the only one interested in paying Estrella a visit. Another made their way casually but quietly up the stairs, any sound they did make absorbed by the struggle that was no doubt occurring just now. Just who did they intend on assisting, her or the rebel cause?
