Shroud Windraven has definitely no strange inhuman appearance on the outside, but his insides are different. To start, one eye of his is red to ruby color, while the other is an unnatural amber to yellow color. He also has distinct shark-like teeth. Shroud has cobalt blue hair that is more or less worn as neatly as possible. He wears 1 ruby-colored jacket made out of leather with pads and pieces of golden-colored armor covering some of it. He wears blue pants with iron boots. To his left waist, there is a silver sheath that holds his sword.

Shakelmir
The Shakelmir is his term for his sword. It's a longsword of total length of 50 inches. 40 to the blade, with 10 to the handle. Although not substantially "big", it seems to be more designed towards two-handed use. One-handed use is not impossible however, nor is it unwieldy like that. There are markings over the blade, and the pommel is a red oval gem.

Stance Swap -Crashing River :: Shroud's swordsmanship is unique in that Shroud hadn't mastered it. He hasn't mastered it (yet) because he can swap between offensive, tide-worthy blows and fluid, graceful movements. In it's untrained state, it is difficult for Shroud to do it mid-combat and have it work unless they're at a distance. As such, his style can actually be offensive or fast, both which can be useful for the right situation. Once mastered, Shroud can actually swap between stances even if he and his enemy are up close. The Strong and Fluid stances are referred to other names..
Strong :: Kingly Requiem
Fluid :: Waterfall Guard
Parfloss' gift; The Cold Fog :: Shroud has access to a cold, snow-white foggy air. This cold air, when at enough strength, turns water vapor into ice. The shape depends on the shape of the cold air during the freezing of vapor. As Shroud gets better with it, it's range and applications will slowly increase. Eventually, so will it's strength as it goes to range. The strength of the cold air dwindles depending on how far it traveled, so it is stronger when closer to Shroud. With training, it can freeze farther. The ice also gets more durable against Fire and such with growth.
Minus Althul :: A spirit trapped into Shakelmir's sword. When released, it'll possess Shroud and amplify his scornful emotions. This leads to a major change in personality. When Shroud is possessed, he loses his stance ability and replaces it with a unique one, called "Emperor Crimson". His ice turns a purple color and becomes more powerful and durable. Half of Shroud's physical power adds to Minus Althul's, whom is pretty physically tough in his own right. Minus Althul is also very skilled. To unlock Minus Althul, Shroud must
1. Be losing consciousness.
2. Shakelmir must be near Shroud, at least 5 meters close to each other.
3. Must have been very stressed by something. Shakelmir thrives in those minds and takes hold of their conscious.
After that, a black darkness will seep out of Shakelmir and take hold of Shroud. The sky will also darken, but only in a certain radius. An indicator that it's Shakelmir is that they're connected like chains, though won't work like actual chains. Yeah, don't get badass here. As a pointer, any damage, fatigue, etc given to Minus Althul will be transferred to Shroud. Minus Althul won't feel a thing, even if a bone is currently broken. An advantage the ghost holds is that the ghost knows what's happening around it, but after the possession is done, Shroud won't know a thing. That's because Shroud is currently unconscious. Once Shroud regains consciousness, the transformation is done and Shroud goes back to normal.
(Extra Note :: Shroud's eyes match his hair in reality (blue)..However, due to Shakelmir, they have turned red and yellow.)
Weaknesses:
Shroud normally doesn't feel remorse upon killing one person. He can only kill so much without it weighing on his conscious, though. After it reaches a point, he will utterly refuse to kill anyone, even if ordered to. He may fight, but only to knock down, never to kill.
Minus Althul himself doesn't seem to value whatever happens to Shroud's body. Why? Cause he takes some risky stunts. Not only that, but he'll constantly try to take down whatever angered him. This does a number on Shroud's body. Especially since it's just not quite damage, but also fatigue and overexertion. Shroud can very much die not in battle, but just because Minus Althul was taking over.

Limit Break 1:
Frostbite Reaper
First, although optional, Shroud grins with his shark teeth. Afterwards, he grips the Shakelmir with both hand if he wasn't before. He brings the blade to his right. He then slashes horizontally to the left, letting go one hand of the Shakelmir. During that time, cold air trails through the attack, extending the range to double the blade's total length. He then performs a rising slash that has cold air trail to it like that, both slashes totaling an x. He lets the Shakelmir go, grabbing it with his right hand in a diagonal slash. He then spins around, another diagonal slash, but to the right. The cold air turns to ice the moment he performs a stab with the blade, and then ends it with a two-handed upwards slash that sends a torrent of ice crystals forward.
As Minus Althul, he instead forms a scythe made out of pure ice, with a lot of ice pouring out of it. Minus Althul then spins around and swings once, causing a wave of ice crystals. He then spins 2 times and causes a cross-shaped cold fog to form. He then spins around and adds a "nail" to the picture, and then delivers a harsh slash for the 5th and last time again. The nail goes in, causing ice to erupt. This cold ice then breaks and explodes, causing quite the bit of damage to the area.
Limit Break 2:
Greeted by Bloody Sharks
Optional again, Shroud points at the enemy. Afterwards, he performs a slash that seems to send cold air in the form of a shark. He continues slashing back and forth until 5 are summoned. Then, Shroud optionally shows his grin, and points at the enemy. The cold air shifts into 2 sets of fangs, and crash like thin sheets of ice towards the enemy.
As Minus Althul, he instead jumps up and forms a pure shark, larger than he is, by pure cold air. This intimidating creature then transforms into five sharks, which all slam into the enemy at once. Then, two sets of fangs appear like walls, and then they break, all to crash against each other, and the enemy between them both.
(Unlocked at Level 15)
Limit Break 3:
Soul Devourer: Great White Destruction
Optional :: He does the same optional start-up as LB 1 or 2. Otherwise, he covers 95% of his face with his hands but his red eye, looking at you..creepy.
Shroud flips the blade around and begins to run towards the enemy. He begins marking the ground with the blade and does an upward slash , before spin-slashing diagonally, ice crystals spiking up around him. He then goes out of his way to grab at the enemy by the neck and slam him to the ground, while ice is caused by 5 slashes back and forth, and then a fist slams into the ground, breaking the ice and causing an uproar of cold ice. The ice then turns into ice like thin sheets of ice resembling fangs that mimic Greeted by Bloody Sharks. Afterwards, Shroud sends the enemy flying slightly mimicking Frostbite Reaper's ending. After all of this, a mix of thin sheets of ice and cold air are shot at an extreme quantity, ending this Limit Break.
As Minus Althul, he runs and grabs the opponent by the neck and slam them down. At that moment, he makes Shakelmir like a purple scythe using pure ice, mimicking the first Limit Break. He then swings down wildly 8 times, ice spikes around him with the same wild motion. He jumps away and throws the scythe-like Shakelmir. Landing near the enemy, but not hitting them, all the ice just breaks and crash into each other, with the enemy in the center. That mimics his second limit break. Then, dashing by the enemy in a quick stop, Minus Althul grabs the scythe and delivers one last scythe blow that causes the cold air to escalate and send the enemy flying, shards of ice following suit.

Character History:
Shroud, birth named Althul, is of a race where some people look fairly human, but have some quality or appearance a fish has. In Althul's case, his family had the least severe fish-like appearance. They have shark teeth, and that's it. Their society is secluded from the others, so passing by them or Shroud would not be very common. Actually, Shroud had been separated from his family by the time he's reached 15 and is right now, at the age of 24, not doing much. All he has to remember his family by is his Shakelmir. Even then, he knew his culture well. It was a case of strongest vs weakest, where the weaker ones, although not looked down upon, were less respected in the group. Even then, the stronger ones knew that numbers mattered, and the additions could make a difference.
Now, Shroud himself was not exactly open to it, and doesn't think it 100% fully as his race, although holds some thought of it. He's out of his home, now, and he remembers the events that associated with it. Chased away by mysterious figures, probably bandits. After he was lost, however, they had come with weaponry. He fought them with his Shakelmir and came victorious, although now he was lost. He managed to not be as lost, although the safe haven he was in was not his. More or less, he's been searching for his homeland, although there may be much more to take care of beforehand..
Writing sample:
Cold-- Yes, incredibly cold. Shroud could feel the cold from a distance. It wasn't cold to the point where his body would not be able to last, but it was still cold to his skin. However, that was only because he was covered in water, and it seemed to have cooled him drastically. Eventually, he'll feel the heat, but for now, he should just get dressed and prepare himself for the day. So he did, putting on his usual clothing, now feeling much warmer. The cold was now gone in an instant, and was being replaced with pleasant amount of heat. After all this, he began walking away, before his eyes widened as he realized where his Shakelmir was. As soon as he turned back, he didn't see it, so he spent a while looking for it. It was a bother, but he found it at last. Least he can now leave in peace. Sheesh. Actually, before that happens, he's going to have to look for some other things.. Guess it didn't end so peacefully.
