Background: Firo Argent, was born within a clan of Miqo'te of the Keepers of the Moon. While they were typically a clan used to being active at night, he couldn't remember about where his original home as invading forces of beastmen forced those who could escape to do so while others stayed behind to try and fend off the invaders. Being just a young lad, he couldn't have done much on his own, but he chose to pick up the life of an adventure with just a spear in hand. It had been his original weapon of choice, and as such he managed to get by for a few years. That's when his luck changed and a monster he was to hunt down for a contract managed to break his weapon and injure him. He feared this would be his death, but until a woman stepped in blazing magicks and quick strikes of her sword to kill the beast. Having saved his life, he was thankful and had many questions for her. From this point, he became her student learning the arts of being a Red Mage, a mage that can cast magic and wield a sword with ease.
For ten years, he traveled across Eorzea and the neighboring lands with her as he studied until when he was around the age of 23, declared that he was rightfully a Red Mage. They had celebrated by eating a meal together in The Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa together, where she also presented him with his own sword that she had commissioned from the blacksmith's guild. "Wild Rose" she called it. A beautiful broad bladed fencing rapier that had a dark red color to it, and on the guard as a metal rose fashioned into it, along with an engraved gem with the symbol for Menphina. A nice touch since that was the deity he had prayed to. Accepting that his time with her was over, he accepted the gift and began traveling on his own again to improve on his own.
What drove him for adventuring wasn't the thrill of battle, or the glory of riches, but rather his freedom to explore and see the world more and more. He had no dreams of being a hero or bandit, just free to explore and enjoy himself as much as he could. Thinking on it, he figured he could record his adventures and make an interesting series of books to share the things he saw, legends he heard, and the people he met along the way. At least, that was his intention along his travels until a strange convergence seemed to occur around an aether rich valley he was wandering through, as the crystals seemed to resonate from a strange source. This resonance pulled him from his world he knew, and out into this new realm that seemed strange to him. A new world for him to discover as he starts a new journey to find his way back home.

Abilities:
- Red Magick - Red Magic is classified as the merging of White Magic and Black Magic, the aetherial conjuration of healing magicks and magicks to cause harm through manipulating elemental properties to have spells take form. However, through the merging of this magick style, it cannot access the strongest abilities of others to the same extent they would be normally. As such, he can cast healing spells, protections, enchantments, and attack spells using elements of Wind, Fire, Earth, Ice, Water, and Lightning.
- Quick Cast - With Red Mages being taught that remaining still makes you a target, they are taught a form of spell casting that can be used to keep themselves from being an easy target by casting quick spells in rapid succession instead of staying in one place to focus on casting larger spells. While, they are able to cast larger spells that take time, they are only encouraged to do so if it seems safe enough to cast them.
- Fencing - With Rapier in hand, they are able to deliver fast, repetitive strikes with their blade. With years of training an experience behind him, he's found himself being rather good as wielding the sword comfortably.
- Weapon Enchant - He can infuse his sword with an element of his choice, but must remain using that element or else the enchantment would fall off.
- Aethereal Study - He can study the flow of aether as long as it's source is potent enough to try to gleam what information he can from it. Such as it's aspects, it's source, and even it's density.
Weapon: Wild Rose - Fencing Broadblade Rapier
- Wild Rose is both his sword and spell casting focus. It was a blade made with certain materials to allow it to hold the aether Firo can imbue into it, allowing the blade to take on different elemental properties as long as he maintains the enchantment upon it. Changing it's element requires him to give Wild Rose some down time to disperse the aether before it can take on another element. Trying to change elements too often in quick succession would put the sword under severe stress, threatening it's structural integrity. With it being so attuned to his energy, even letting go of the sword would cause it's enchantment to dissipate.
Limit Breaks:
- Blooming Rose - Firo delivers a series of high speed thrusts to stab at the target, depositing a small condensed form of aether within the wounds that become ticking time bombs. Once after delivering one hundred thrusts, will leap away from his target to give himself distance from the coming explosion of energy. Snapping his fingers is the technique's release, causing the condensed aether pockets to detonate and explode to cause as much damage as it can. The explosions seem to resemble blooming roses that explode from the target's body, hence how it got it's name.
- Rapid Cast: Spell Chain - By charging his body with his aether, he would send out a rapid fire of spells in quick succession. Casting in order of Water, Thunder, Earth, Wind, Ice and then finishing off with a big Fire spell. This was designed with the idea of using each prior spell's element weakness to feed off of in terms of staggering the damage in order to inflict as much damage as possible.
- Cataclysm Impact - By gathering his magicks in each hand, white within his left and black within his right, he takes time to gather and condense the aetherial energy before launching both at his targeted area to have them explode as both energies mix, covering a fairly large area within the explosive force of around 15 meters. The outer 10 meters from the explosion experiences the forceful winds of the explosion. This is intended to blast the target area with a powerful magick bomb from it's swirling energies.

- Sarcastic Wit - Instead of letting his worries be shown, he deflects off onto sarcastic and witty remarks. It can give him an appearance of having bravado while trying to keep his actual feelings from being shown on the surface. Doesn't work all the time, but he tries.
- Aethereal Knowledge - Being of the mage studies, he has some knowledge regarding the nature of aether, regarding how to study and use it's power.
- Feline Footwork - Being quick on his feet is a good thing, especially when needing to move around or how to land on the ground.
- Fast Fencing - Having trained in how to use his sword as both a focus and weapon, he's able to swing his sword with relative ease and quick strikes.
Weaknesses: List 3
- Glass Cannon Syndrome - While he can be good at his skills, he does run the risk of running out of energy quickly if he isn't careful. Nor does he have the ability to withstand heavy damage for long periods. His role in a fight had always to deal as much damage as possible and avoid getting hit as long as he can.
- Awkward Savant - While he tends to feign his confidence, it can come off as awkward if timed poorly. Especially when he would try to flirt a bit, or try to be sarcastic at the worst of times. It would lead to a lot of misunderstanding with him and get him in more trouble than he'd care to be in.
- Growing Self Doubt - Now being in a land that feels unfamiliar to him, he isn't sure on how he can be useful to anyone or if his skills could be of any use at all. With that in mind, since he doesn't have his reputation backing him, he's wondering how he can get by to survive, let alone wondering if any of his friends think he might be dead.

- Study the aether of this world, to see if he can learn how to expand his use of Red Magicks.
- To survive. Even if he is unable to return home, he refuses to sit down and let himself die in this unfamiliar world without a good reason.
